LEOMINSTER, Mass. —
Three people were injured Friday night when a car fell from an overpass in Leominster, Massachusetts.
A Massachusetts State Police spokesperson reported that the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Route 2 when, for reasons still under investigation, it plunged off the overpass and landed on Nashua Street below.
All three occupants were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The Worcester County State Police Detective Unit, the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, along with Leominster Police and Fire Departments, responded to the scene.
