SAN ANTONIO - A woman has been hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle, just west of Downtown.
Around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, police responded to calls for a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian near the corner of North Frio Street and West Houston Street.
According to officers on scene, the victim, believed to be a woman in her 40s, was hit while she was crossing the street.
Officials are investigating what led up to the incident. This is a developing story.
